"Myself and my partner are vegetarian and vegan (which can be hard to accommodate on holidays). We were made to feel very welcomed and very comfortable. There is a vegetarian option every night and the cooking staff were happy to make alterations to any dishes to suit our dietary requirements which was amazing!! The options were fantastic and different every night. We especially enjoyed the portobello mushroom kiev. Such friendly staff and the wine selection was amazing aswell."
"I stayed in Hotel Christiana in February 2020, and what a week!! Christiana is in a perfect location in town, which had unbelievable snow and skiing on its doorstep. We were treated to a varied fine dining 3-course dinner (including Vegan options daily) with accompanying wine and a hot breakfast to fuel us for the days skiing.
A stand out night is when the Hotel invited one of the best bands the Alps has to offer to play in the Hotel living room bar.
Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. I would not stay anywhere else in Les Gets"

These guys know how to run a hotel. The food is of the highest standard and changes daily. The bar staff are friendly and manage to keep smiling even when they're run off their feet. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They are knowledgeable about the skiing and how to get the best out of your time there.
The food in this little restaurant gets better and better. A talented chef produces outstanding dishes night after night. Good to see there are also excellent vegetarian options on the menu. John King’s wonderful knowledge of wine coupled with the warm and friendly approach from him and all of his staff make for a very enjoyable evening.

Once more Hotel Christiania punched well above its weight. This must be my 10th visit and the bar just keeps going up. The location and proximity to the slopes speak for themselves. Food was superb and the friendly and comfortable “chalet like” atmosphere keeps bringing me back. This year the Christiania team surpassed themselves with the support they gave to both adults and children - thank you very much
We had a fantastic one week stay at this hotel. The stand out features of our stay were the incredible food and the staff who could not have been more kind and helpful. Direct access to the slopes was also a bonus!

Christania was terrific spot at the bottom of the ski hill in Les Gets. John and his team looked after us as if we had been coming for years, when in fact it was our first trip there. I am looking forward to heading back there again next year and the years to come.
Stayed for the 3rd year in a row in a double room on the 1st floor, its a wonderful place for a ski holiday with direct access to the main piste.
The restaurant and bar are tremendous and the owner has a Pouilly Fuisse wine estate which serves the bar welland the wine list is exceptional! A taste of some of the food we had for dinner attached.
One key ingredient of the success of the Christiania is the relaxed friendly atmosphere in the common areas of the hotel. So many people go there with friends and have fun even when its raining!
Just back from this hotel following a 1week stay - 5 adults and 3 kids. What a wonderful hotel. The hotel itself has a great atmosphere, very relaxed with the most amazing food included. We looked forward to our dinners with varied menus each evening, all served beautifully and by very pleasant staff. The hotel is only seconds away from the slopes- ski in/out which is fabulous. Cake and tea/coffee served after a tiring day added to the overall experience.
Looking forward to a return visit next year.
We stayed at The Christiania in March 2019, we had a comfortable and relaxing week. The location is excellent with direct access to the slopes. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and the food was varied and of a high standard. We would stay there again and would recommend it to family and friends.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Christiana. The hotel room was compact and had everything you needed for a ski trip. The staff, warm hospitality and food are where Hotel Christiana excels. Everyone was extremely friendly and couldn’t do more to ensure guests had a great stay in a cozy, relaxed environment. The location is A1, a 2 min walk to the lifts. Thank you to John and the team and we will be back!
What a great find Christiania is. A proper ski in - ski out hotel in the heart of Les Gets with quick and easy access to the main lifts. Lovely atmosphere in the bar and restaurant and the evening meals were consistently top notch. Throw in a wine list that really should be favoured and enjoyed and what's not to like! Given the number of guest we spoke to who have returned many times, it looks like others have arrived at the same conclusion. Chapeau Christiania!
Of all of the hotels in Les Gets this is without doubt our favourite; it's right by the slopes, the food is absolutely superb - if we weren't staying there we'd go there for the food alone - the welcome warm, and the ambience always top class. Service is very friendly and management are always on hand to assist. It's a great hotel for families, groups or individuals as the atmosphere pulls everyone together.
